Thomas J. Kessinger, a Member of the firm, graduated cum laude from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1978, where he was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. He concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate law, personal and financial planning for individuals, families, and businesses; estate and trust administration; estate and income tax planning; financial and pension planning; income taxation; non-profit organizations and elder law.

Mr. Kessinger is licensed to practice in all Pennsylvania state courts and in the US District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, as well as before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. His memberships include the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Real Property, Probate & Trust Law and Tax Sections, as well as the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Probate & Trusts Law and Taxation Sections. He is a member of the American Bar Association.

Mr. Kessinger has given numerous presentations and lectures to professional and community organizations on the subjects of estate planning, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Living Wills and income taxation.
